Shockwave SWP-1026 G-Force Bolster Seat is designed for bridge and smaller cockpit applications. This slim profile suspension seat can be ordered with deck mounted adjustment track or turntable base for easy access and variable positioning. The footrest and seat base fold down to allow standing in front of the seat with leaning and bolster support for the occupant. There is an option to add controls to the right or left armrest.
The adjustable progressive spring rate FOX Float shock absorber has 200mm (8”) travel which provides a high level of shock mitigation and vibration attenuation. The rear mounted linear suspension module has FOX Float 'economy of motion' that moves less in relation to controls while dampening out more shock and vibration than higher travel systems. The FOX Float shock absorber comes with fill pump which allows the user to adjust ride and Samurai sealing system to prevent pressure loss between adjustments.
Specifications include welded 304 stainless steel chassis, 6061 T6 aluminum machined components and 5086 H32 aluminum welded components certified to CWB/AWS welding standards. Finish is hard anodize and polyester powder coat. Ergonomic, sculpted seat cushions are made with body heat activated, body contour forming, EAF energy absorbing viscoelastic foam.
Options include folding armrests, pistol grip handgrips and multi-point seat belts. An additional rear mounted jump seat can be attached to the unit. The standard seat (without kidney bolsters) provides clearance for belt mounted safety gear, equipment or weapons. Suspension options include AVA (Advanced Suspension Adjustment), MRAD (MR Active Dampening) and SMART Automatic Air Ride.
