Hull Protection - Click any image below for more information.
Hull protection is used to protect the hull of RHIBs and high speed craft. Keel rubbing strakes can be applied to the V section of hulls to reduce damage from boat ramps or when the craft is grounded. Riverine and landing craft operators perform deliberate groundings to embark personnel. Durable sheet materials can be used to protect the underwater hull area from abrasion on shallow water jet boat applications. Specialist coatings can be applied to reduce hull fouling from marine growth.
