Shockwave SWP-1008 Jockey Seat is an economical, compact and low weight solution for small to medium size RIBs and open boats. The linear suspension module allows the seat to be mounted very low and still retain full suspension travel. The SWP-1008 Jockey Seat mounts on an existing riser or Shockwave optional seat riser box. The seat and suspension unit can be mounted directly to the floor in extreme low mount applications such as race boats or bass boats.
The adjustable progressive spring rate FOX Float shock absorber has 152mm (6”) travel which provides a high level of shock mitigation and vibration attenuation. Ergonomic, sculpted seat cushions are made with body heat activated, body contour forming, EAF energy absorbing viscoelastic foam. The ballistic nylon upholstery covers are puncture and tear resistant plus easy to replace if required.
Shockwave SWP-1008 is a lightweight, simple and strong Jockey Seat with minimum of fasteners and moving parts. Specifications include welded 304 stainless steel chassis, 6061 T6 aluminum machined components and 5086 H32 aluminum welded components certified to CWB/AWS welding standards. Finish is hard anodize and polyester powder coat. The seat and suspension unit can be mounted using the optional deck mounting bracket.
Shockwave adjustment options include height adjustment, deck track and seat slider. Options include mounting box with footrest, folding armrests, pistol grip handgrips, wide backrest, rear handrail and multi-point seat belts. Suspension options include AVA (Advanced Suspension Adjustment).
