SHOXS 2000 is purpose built for maritime security applications. The SHOXS 2000 has a compact form factor making it a suitable option when space is limited.
SHOXS 2000 seats are available with SHOXSDUAL2 suspension, utilizing real Semi-Active technology. Ride conditions are analyzed 1000 times per second. Seat time response to damping adjustments can be as fast as 5 milliseconds. Continuously variable, it automatically compensates for occupant weight and modifies the seat response for each wave. Unlike manual adjustments SHOXSDUAL2 automatically adjusts damping ratios to maximize shock attenuation for various occupant weights and impact severity.
SHOXS 2000 incorporates 127mm (5") suspension travel and is typically mounted on an 457mm (18"), seat box riser.
SHOXS seats are manufactured using high quality marine grade materials including 6061-T6 AL, titanium, 316 stainless steel and heavy duty hand-stitched vinyl upholstery. Available options include SHOXSDUAL2, height and fore-aft adjustments, various armrest widths, head rest, pistol grips, cup holder, chart pocket, lap belt, 5 point harness, black and grey upholstery, Furuno and SeaFLIR controller mounts, throttle boxes, custom control consoles.
