Humphree Asymmetric 350mm Interceptor

Humphree is pleased to announce the release of a new smaller interceptor size: the asymmetric 350mm interceptor.
The 350mm interceptor extends the Humphree range for asymmetric interceptors downwards and the available sizes for these type of interceptors now ranges from 350mm up to 1000mm. Including the standard type interceptor Humphree now offers interceptors between 350mm and 1500mm.
HA350 is mostly developed for smaller commercial projects where high trim / list control and improved maneuvering is desired but available space often is limited. Typical suitable boat sizes are between 25ft and 45ft. It is also a product which could be suitable for leisure boats which require a high quality trim system but are not so cost sensitive.
The interceptor is a smaller version of the popular HA500 interceptor and produced in same high quality composite material. It comes in both a right and left version, where the shaft is offset to one or the other side, and can withstand operational speeds of up to 50 knots and above.
Every Humphree interceptor can be combined with a corresponding mounting plate to facilitate the installation and this applies also for the HA350 interceptor.
The HA350 interceptor can be combined with the following automatic features.
System Descriptions:
Basic (Standard):
Manual control of trim and list. Includes sensors for measurement of trim and list which is presented in the LCD display. It also includes four memory settings to rapidly set the interceptors to pre-programmed positions.
ATOS - Automatic Trim Optimisation System (add on option):
With this option, longitudinal vessel trim is automatically adjusted to provide optimum running trim for highest speed and lowest fuel consumption. Acceleration will be improved dramatically as the interceptor blades reach full stroke much faster than any other trim system. Visibility will be improved as a result of optimal running trim at all speeds. List is controlled manually.
BTOS - Bi-Trim Optimisation System (add on option):
Bi-Trim Optimisation System (BTOS) gives automatic correction of the vessels longitudinal trim (ATOS) for best speed, fuel consumption, visibility and acceleration, and it also offers an automatic correction of boat list normally caused by wind or uneven loading. With BTOS the captain simply sets the target list angle, in the normal case 0° and the system will automatically adjust the boat list to the set angle.
CTOS – Coordinated Turn Optimisation System (add on option):
With CTOS, the behaviour when turning can be automatically adjusted to dramatically improve heel angle and comfort. Remarkable differences can be achieved such as reducing the turning circle significantly or optimising boat characteristics to customer desires. When using CTOS, input from steering position is also taken into the Humphree control system. CTOS can be combined with Basic, ATOS, BTOS or ACTIVE.
ACTIVE - Ride Control System (add on option):
This is our most advanced option and provides an effective ride control system that will automatically drive the interceptors to counteract wave induced roll and pitch motion. It includes automatic trim and list control also compensating for cross winds or uneven loading. The ACTIVE includes advanced Gyro and controller plus even faster servo units for best possible motion damping.
