Dyena Acceleration Recorder (DaccR) is specifically designed for professional marine and offshore operators. DaccR provides information on a vessels position, performance and shock-loads. All data is processed internally and presented in a clear and logical manner enabling operators to monitor impact exposure of craft, passengers and crew.
DaccR data is easily interpreted to provide a vessel management and crew performance analysis tool that can be used to highlight risks in training and operations. Training methods can be introduced to identify and manage crew strengths and weaknesses. Risks of structural damage to a vessel can be identified and survey schedules can be introduced based on actual duration / exposure use.
The Dyena Acceleration Recorder can be used to build up a database of the impact and vibration dose that workers receive over a period of time. This can then be used to alter daily routines to ensure that exposure is reduced. As part of their duty of care, accurate information allows operators to identify areas of risk and take suitable preventative measures.
The DaccR is supplied with its own GPS antenna. The unit constantly samples the vibrations and impacts received on the vessel and records these to the memory card. The memory card data can be viewed on a standard computer or laptop. The file for each date can display a 3D map trace of the underway operations. The trace is automatically RAG (red, amber, green) colour coded to indicate the severity of personnel exposure to vibration and impacts. Data is stored in a standard format.
