Offshore Seats Zero G1 is a suspension seat for RIBs and high speed craft that helps in the critical area of impact absorption. It is a comfortable seat that allows its user to enjoy the ride no matter how rough the sea. This suspension seat is used to de-accelerate the body over the greatest distance possible in a controlled and uniform manner.
The Offshore Zero G1 seat starts off soft and the spring rate increases as it compresses, slowing the body down gently and progressively. Zero G1 combines these features with the ability to be fully adjustable to the size and weight of individual crew members. With a small footprint and simple fixings the Offshore Seat can be specified for new craft or as a retro-fit solution.
The seat height (unloaded) is adjustable from 730mm to 830mm (29 inch to 31 inch) whilst the suspension travel is up to 195mm (8 inches). The spring rate is adjustable to suit persons with weight from 50kg to190kg (110lbs to 418 lbs). The compression and rebound damping are both adjustable by 18 steps.
The Zero G1 seat geometry is designed to be comfortable when either seated or standing. There is an oil damped shock absorber with infinitely adjustable air spring. Constructed from military specification anodised alloy the light weight Zero G1 suspension seat is virtually maintenance free. A choice of different seat backs are also available.
