SeaSafe Navigator is a high tech gilet jacket with integrated life jacket built in. This body warmer style jacket has a rear black mesh panel, which allows air to flow through the garment, providing a cool and lightweight feel for warmer weather or to allow for layering of clothing underneath. The SeaSafe Navigator has been developed around an automatic self-righting 170 Newton lifejacket.
The webbing chest harness includes a lifting becket with stainless steel D Ring and buckle system. Safety features include crotch strap with detachable clip, retro-reflective tape over the shoulders, integral concealed hi-visibility waterproof hood and SOLAS approved automatic light. The flare pocket, knife or Maglite holder is under a velcro flap. The two colour contrasting webbing loops are for VHF radio and compass. A radio microphone loop is located at the top of the oral inflation tube cover.
Two outside zipped fleece lined pockets plus a gusset pocket with Aquapac mini phone case attached are standard. Options include a fleece collar, Mini Maglite flashlight and flat nosed divers knife. To assist in man overboard recovery a Kannad SafeLink R10 SRS beacon with AIS (Automatic Identification System) can be fitted to the SeaSafe Navigator. The SeaSafe Navigator is avialable in 7 sizes from Extra Small to Triple Extra Large. Matching trousers are available in 3 specifications.
