SHOXS 2000 Suspension Seat is designed for high performance planing vessels. The SHOXS 2000 is light weight and compact making it ideal for cabin installations where space is limited. The base unit is configurable to suit any installation and enables single or multiple seat box mounting. The mounting pattern matches Bentley Mariner and Glyde-Ryde.
The aluminium shock absorber body offers 125mm (5”) SHOXS stability travel. Components are CNC machined, fasteners are 316 stainless steel and aluminium is clear hard anodized or grey powder coated. The seat bucket is identical to the SHOXS 4000 series, with hand stitched black vinyl upholstery.
SHOXS 2000 Suspension Seat can be fitted with 75mm (3”) height adjustment and 133mm (5 ¼”) fore & aft adjustment. Options include armrests, adjustable width armrests, pistol grip hand holds, chart holder and SHOXS cup holder. There is mounting for a 5-point harness with inertia reel and manual lock out.
The SHOXS seating range utilises purpose built designs for land and marine applications. The precision manufactured units offer engineered ride stabilisation combined with excellent ergonomics. The SHOXS 2000 has the option to be fitted with SHOXSDUAL2 semi-active mitigation system and custom control consoles.
