The Raymarine E-Series Multifunction Display is available in 9", 12" or 14" widescreen versions. The E-Series user interface is designed around an intuitive home screen that enables operators to customize their navigation layout to create the ideal configuration for every navigation scenario. By using the HybridTouch™ user interface operators can choose touch screen or keypad control.
The E140W’s ruggedized glass touch screen, anti-glare optics, and scratch resistant screen ensures accurate, and durable touch screen performance. Designed for the marine environment the E140W touch screen minimizes false inputs from rain or spray while the Touch Lock™ feature enables button operation in extreme conditions. Optically bonded LCD display technology ensures vibrant colour and maximum visibility in all conditions. The E140W has a high resolution sunlight viewable display with WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution.
The E140W’s chartplotter uses Raymarine’s intuitive SoftKey interface. The E-Series utilises Navionics Platinum Plus cartography powered by TurboView™ technology for fast and seamless 3D navigation with high resolution aerial photo overlay, panoramic port photos, 3D bathymetric views and coast pilot book data. A Raymarine HD Digital radome or open array antenna can be networked to improve navigation in fog, rain and at night. HD Digital radar delivers a clear radar picture with crisp, well-defined contact echoes and target presentation.
A multiple E-Series Widescreen network can be created with up to 8 SeaTalkhs network devices. The HD Digital Sounder technology delivers up to 3 Kilowatts of output power. An optional SR100 SIRIUS weather receiver can be connected. NMEA0183 and NMEA2000 support is standard, providing easy integration with third party electronics and engine monitoring.
